Service Description
Small, specialist group therapy for people with Parkinson's who want to maintain or improve their voice, communication and confidence. Group therapy focuses on: - Voice loudness and clarity - Communication strategies - Confidence in communication - Education about changes in speech/communication in Parkinson's - Peer support in a safe, supportive environment Groups are kept small to ensure individual input and are led by a Parkinson's specialist Speech & Language Therapist Education around safe swallowing and eating strategies may be included where appropriate. * An individual assessment is required prior to joining the group. This ensures the group is clinically appropriate, safe, and able to meet individual communication and swallowing needs.
Cancellation Policy
Block Booking Policy To support consistency and progress in therapy, I offer discounted block bookings. 1. Standard Rate Individual therapy session: £75 per hour 2. Block Booking Offer 6-session block (6 × 1 hour) Discounted rate: £400 total (save £50) Payment is due in advance at the time of booking. 3. Validity Block bookings are valid for 3 months from the date of purchase. Sessions not used within this period will be forfeited. 4. Cancellations & Rescheduling At least 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule a session. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be deducted from the block. 5. Refunds Block bookings are non-refundable once started. If you have not used any sessions, a full refund can be provided within 14 days of purchase. 6. Flexibility Sessions can be booked weekly or at intervals that best suit therapy goals, subject to availability.
